Just finished my MBA at Anderson (UCLA) and we have been studying the housing market for over a year. We are screwed. Housing prices in LA and SD are piggy backing off the tech bubble up in San Francisco and trickling here. Peoples income are stagnated and the cost of living is an upward trend. The tech bubble along with the sub prime auto loan bubble across the US is gonna sink the housing market. Homes valued over 1 million will be affected the most. Just FYI…… but hey…. realtors like to give a different version. With all due respect, you forgot too mention that over 40,000 homes are in the pre foreclosure stages with the banks here in LA county. Not too mention over 100,000 more across the state. All signs point to collapse!
